Notes on Registration as a  
Buy to let Plus Agent
 
 

  • Go to www.buytoletplus.com
  • Click on ‘Sign Up Agent’ on the left hand panel
  • You are first asked to enter a user name and password. This can be any user name or password you want just so long as you can recall it when you wish to re-enter the members area. Each has to have a minimum of 4 characters and a maximum of 8. They can be all numbers or letters and upper or lower case whichever you wish
  • Next enter your company name and address
  • Enter the email address you wish to see on the details displayed on the screen
  • Enter a phone number that interested parties can ring as this will also be displayed on the site.
  • Logo, this is your company logo or name style. You need to make sure you have this available to access as a stand alone document. Click browse and find your logo. Click the right hand mouse button and  click ‘select’ this will automatically populate the site with your logo.
  • If you do not have a logo check the Not Available box, and there will be an automatic logo provided for you, but we are certain you would prefer your own!
  • Names of partners or Directors with Qualifications is to enable us to check that you are who you say you are and that the firm has the appropriate qualifications to give advice to visitors to the site.
  • PI Cover renewal date is a house keeping issue for us so that we can be sure companies are properly insured. We have no intention of trying to sell you PI insurance –Promise!
  • Please indicate the services you provide by checking the boxes.
  • By clicking ‘submit’ you will now be presented with an agreement filled out in your name. If you are happy with the terms, print out a copy by clicking the print button at the top right of the page and then click ‘I agree the terms and conditions’ and then click submit.
  • Please note the agreement assumes you to have read the terms of the site and the privacy statement. These are available by clicking on ‘Privacy Policy’ and ‘Terms’ at the foot of the sites home page.

    Agents, Solicitors and Accountants can upload their logo (which is to be displayed with their details) at the time of registration or later. If no logo is uploaded, a default logo is displayed. The agent's logo is displayed with their property details also. To upload the logo click the browse button against Logo and select your logo in the registration page.
 
 
    Agents, Solicitors and Accountants can change their logo anytime. To do this, sign in through members area and go to Edit my account page. Tick the check box against change logo. Then a browse button will appear. Browse the logo from your computer and click Submit button. Your new logo will be uploaded.
 
Change Details
 
    Agents, Solicitors and Accountants can change the details like address, phone, email, etc. To do this sign up through Members Area and go to Edit My Account. Make changes in the relevant fields and click the submit button.
 
How To Add a Property
 
    This is a function restricted to agents. Agents need to Login first. Then from the Left hand side menu, select ADD PROPERTY link. A web form will be loaded on your browser. Fill up the form. All fields marked with '*' are mandatory. If status selected is tenanted then Terms of Tenancy and Rent also are mandatory fields. If there is no name for the property please use captions like 'Property in London'. After filling up click the submit button. If Your property is added, a message box will appear saying 'Your Property is added successfully'. Else the same page will be displayed with error messages. Make proper changes to the fields and Submit again.
 
How to Upload the Images of a Property.
 
   

Agents can upload upto 5 images (including one which displayed with details of the property) for each of his properties. To upload the images the agent can use the following procedure

  • Login using your username and password.
  • Go to My Properties from the left hand side menu
  • Click on the link 'Add photos' under desired property.
  • Select upto 4 images which you want to upload using the browse button.
  • Click Upload Files button.
  • You can upload upto 4 images like this.
  • If you want to change the image which is displayed with property details click the link 'Edit Details' from My Properties.
  • Then check the box against change image.
  • Select the image using Browse button.
  • Submit the form
 
How to Change the Image of a Property.
 
    Agents can change the image of the property(which is to be displayed with the property details). To do this login through the Members Area and go to My Properties. Click Edit Property of the corresponding property. Tick the check box against Change Image. A browse button will appear. Select the new image and click submit.
